Important Tips and Tricks

Stitching bunches or comes loose on outside top:

Using the reverse key on your machine to go forward and backwards on the start and end of the finishing step may help keep the thread from bunching. Also helpful can be pulling the top thread tight before beginning the stitch. If stitches come loose, use more back-stitching to secure, or hold Whale Sac for 5-6 stitches before moving on to the remainder of the Whale Sac. Video link here:

I messed up a whale a bit, what now?

This is surprisingly common! If the whale is completely or mostly finished and has a hole or has some parts of the fabric label showing, or is just a reallllllyyyyy weird shape, go ahead and finish it up and label it with a post it and call it a Wonky Whale. We still sell these, just for a little less.
